It’s home opener week for the Saluki Football team and Mike Murphy and Paxton Guy were excited to hear from SIU acting Athletic Director Jerry Kill on this week’s edition of In The Dawghouse.

Coach Kill hopes to see the Salukis bring the intensity that they had against Ole Miss this past Saturday.

“If we play that hard, with that determination, then good things will happen,” Kill says. “If we don’t come out and play our ‘A’ game, and play a ‘C’ game, things won’t be so good.”

Kill is hoping he sees all the Saluki faithful well before Saturday’s game because the tailgate is going to open up at 8 A.M.!

“We need everyone to come together and no better way than a football game” Kill says. “I want people in the stands! We’re doing all kinds of activities for people at the game.”

Listen to 103.5 ESPN every Monday from 6pm to 7pm for In The Dawghouse!
